This paper firstly summarizes and analyzes the status quo of China's industrial pollution and the bag filter application,and describes the application prospects of polysulfonamide fiber(PSA fibre for short) in high-temperature filtration field.Based on the existing fibre testing method for fibre's performance home and abroad,a reasonable and specific test method is designed to meet the typical problems of fibres in application.More comprehensive research and an exploratory study are taken on the acid and oxidation resistance properties of PSA fibre and needle-punched nonwoven fabric.The comparative study are made on acid and oxidation resistance properties between PSA needle-punched nonwoven fabric and the similar foreign products,to know the different characteristics in the relevant performance of these nonwoven fabrics.This paper we choose three kinds needle-punched nonwoven fabric filter media, Nomex,PPS and P84 nonwoven fabrics.We can get different processing technology PSA needle-punched nonwoven fabric through changing the number of needle-punchings;the Nomex,PPS,P84 needle-punched nonwoven fabric are bought from the market.As filtration media is vulnerable to corrosion when using in common high-temperature working conditions and the gas temperature below the dew point,in order to simulate the working conditions,a part of the PSA fiber and needle-punched nonwoven fabric are heat-treated,and then treated with other PSA fiber and needle-punched nonwoven fabric treated in different concentrations of sulfuric acid and calcium hypochlorite solutions respectively,through which main performance indicators of fibre and fabric can be measured and compared,thus the corrosion resistance is evaluated.The results show that:the acid and oxidation resistance properties of PSA fiber and fabric is related with the concentration of solution,and the corrosion-resistant performance of PSA fibre without heat-treatment is superior to the heat-treatment PSA fibre;the strength of the heat-treatment PSA nonwoven fabric are better than controlled samples in the treatment of the acid and oxide solution.Through dealing the different processing technology PSA nonwoven fabric in the same sulfuric acid and calcium hypochlorite solution,the study indicates that the corrosion-resistant performance of PSA nonwoven fabric is closely related to the performance of the original sample. The fabric with high density of needle-punching have betterl performance in the samples,and the acid and oxidation resistance properties is also better.When treating PSA,Nomex,PPS and P84 needle-punched nonwoven fabric samples in the same sulfuric acid and calcium hypochlorite solution conditions,and comparing the performance indicators,we find that the acid-resistance property of PSA is better in the low concentration of sulfuric acid solution,the acid-resistance property of the four kinds of samples order is:PSA>P84>PPS>Nomex;in the high concentration sulfuric acid solution,the properties of PSA sample has a sharp decline,the acid-resistance property order is:P84>PPS>Nomex>PSA. After treatment in calcium hypochlorite solution,the overall performance of the PSA sample is better than the other samples.
