Due to the low efficiency of mist eliminator, the GGH of desulfurization system of a 600MW power plant was often blocked during operation, and seriously affected the normal operation of desulfurization system. For this problem, this paper has done a mist eliminator performance optimization experimental study,anylysised the impact of the mesh structure to the mist eliminator experiment.,and obtained optimized vane style.Meanwhile, combined the mumerical simulation and experimental study,studyed two typical operating conditons of the full load and 450MW.and concluded the corresponding optimization progran:When the unit was running at full load, heightening flue-plate and optimizing the vane style of mist eliminator could improve demist efficiency; in the 450MW operating condition, the effect of widening the flue-plate wasn't satisfactory,while,transforming mist eliminator plate could operate.
