At present, as the biological sewage treatment technology, typically the sludge method, has become quite mature, it is widely used in both municipal and industrial swage treatment, playing an important role in preventing water pollution. The operating management problems in the swage treatment plants which caused by the quality of original water exceeding the design loads becomes a significantly studied subject, so this study set the start and operation of the swage treatment plants of Heyuan as the object, selecting the ones utilizing A2/O technology as examples and carries out analyze, summarize and check to the load fluctuation in practice according to the check of the design load and present data. The result shows that whether the concentration of original water lower or higher than the design loads, after using the controllability of the technological process to appropriately regulate the equipments, the effluent water could be discharged to reach standard, which indicates that the A2/O technology has a certain ability of load fluctuate resistance.
