As the development of science and technology and economy,The situation of the environment become worse.Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) is one of the main sources of air pollution, People pay more and more attention to it.The adsorption technique is one of the effective methods,Because of economic and high purification efficiency and no secondary pollution,it become widely used.In the process of actual adsorption and purification,Many of the exhaust of VOCs contain mixed with water, This will involve competition adsorption of VOCs and water vapor.Based on meteorological chromatographic for testing, weight method and Long-Column Method were used for the determination of the breakthrough curve column data under 30 degrees benzene, toluene, acetone, ethyl acetate under the different relative humidity on activated, For research the organic vapor adsorption balance of binary gas mixture provides preliminary foundation.Research results show that when single component volatile organic compounds in the activated carbon adsorption, its adsorption ability will increases with molecular. When in the water vapor circumstance, the adsorption quantity of activated carbon for volatile organic compounds will decreases with the increasing of relative humidity of water vapor, Especially when humidity is more than 50%, through time significantly in advance, the adsorption quantity significantly reduced. When relative humidity is 80%, the adsorption quantity of activated carbon will reduce to 50%. Adsorption effect of activated carbon has very big relations to the polarity of organic adsorption, the polarity of four volatile organic compounds is benzene, toluene ethyl acetate, acetone. The inhibition of water vapor to the adsorption of volatile organic compounds on activated carbon is more serious. This is to say that in condition of water vapor insisted, the more polarity, the more inhibition.
