In recent years, with the development of Chinese economy, the scale and quantity of the high-speed railroad construction increase unceasingly, and which already ranked among the world's top level. CRH Storage yard is the place where CHR deposited and repaired.Due to CHR is expensive, once has the fire, not only the economic loss is serious, the sociopolitical influences is also serious.Chengdu CRH Storage yard which has big scale and a certain representative at home designs thirty-seven saving lines,every line can saves two CHRs which have sixteen compartments.This paper mainly study on Chengdu CRH Storage yard fire risk analysis.Analysis the smoke movement, velocity field,temperature field and visibility of the situation that the materials without flame retardant and 1.2m spacing between two CHRs,the situation that the materials without flame retardant but 2.4m spacing between two CHRs,the situation that the materials with flame retardant and 1.2m spacing between two CHRs and the situation that the materials with flame retardant but 2.4m spacing between two CHRs.And analysis fire hazard of CHR which is fired and the adjacent CHR according to the heat flux of train's wall and the temperature field of the zone between two trains.Then give some proposals about fireprotection design of Chengdu CRH Storage yard. The analysis indicated that the train space contributes to fire spread is not obvious but use flame retardant materials can control the fire spread effectively.In the case of using flame retardant materials,the window glass did not destroyed by fire,the wall of the adjacent trains maintains a very low temperature, the fire risk analysis is very small.Using flame retardant materials can be more effective than increasing the distance between trains in reducing the fire risk of the adjacent trains.According to the results of this thesis, it is suggested we should using the materials with low heat release rate in CRH storage yard and carriages.Actually,the distance between the two CRHs in Chengdu CRH storage yard is 1.2 metres, in the event that storage yard area is limited, increasing the distance between trains can not be considered to reduce the fire hazard beteen two trains.
