Hydraulic support is an important part of mine exploitation, and electromagnetic pilot valve is one of main components. It makes hydraulic support moving by hydraulic support electric-hydraulic control system. Its reliability affects directly performance of whole mine exploitation workplace and the security of the people. Applying FLUENT software of Computational Fluid Dynamics, flow field of electromagnetic pilot valve is simulated and analyzed in paper.Two-dimension and three-dimension geometrical model of pilot valve are built by applying AutoCAD and Gambit software of FLUENT software, according its actual structure and parameters. The model built is imported into Gambit software in order to generate mesh. Both the two and three-dimension flow field of valve are simulated in FLUENT software.When the flow field of the two-dimension of pilot valve is simulated, Two modes are built whose opening are 0.1mm and 0.2mm.At the same opening, the fluid flowing regularity and influencing factors in flow field are analyzed and compared in the different boundary conditions .At the different opening, the fluid flowing condition in valve is analyzed and compared in the same boundary conditions, the force changes of valve core was simulated, the flow condition and trend are compared as well as the position and influencing factors which is easiest to bring air pocket and corrode. By changing the diameter of mandril for the change of the flow channel, the flow channel of valve is made the optimization design, its two-dimension model is built and simulated by compares, force of valve core and turbulent kinetic energy of the flow channel are reduced, then energy loss also reduce.When the flow field of three-dimension of pilot valve of is simulated, Two modes are built whose opening are 0.1mm and 0.2mm.Aimed at the same opening but different boundary conditions or at the same boundary but different opening, flow field is numerical simulated. Through cutting out the cross-section of the inlet of three-dimension model, watching vector diagram of the plane, vortex is discovered obviously in the inlet of the valve cavity, which is invisible to two-dimension model, the improved model of flow field is established and simulated, and compared the pressure and turbulent kinetic of the valve , when the diameter of the mandril changes by 2.5 mm to 0.3 mm, the pressure and turbulent kinetic energy are reduced. It provides reference for optimization design of channel valves.In the end, by compared the results of the flow field of 2d and 3d model, in the qualitative analysis, 2d and 3d simulation got the same conclusion, but the numerical value is not the same , Three-dimensional numerical simulation of the flow field have more guidance in the quantitative. The results of 2d and 3d numerical simulation show that the turbulent kinetic and energy lose in valve are reduced after the improvement of the flow channel, It provides guidance for the optimization design of channel of valve.
