Cyclone is one of the most widely used equipment in industrial applications of gas-solid separation, the separation ability of cyclone is closely related to the internal flow field of cyclone. In this paper, Simulated the internal gas flow field of cyclone by fluent based on the computational fluid dynamics method, the velocity field and the pressure field distribution of cyclone are given. Got the affect of the flow, pressure drop and particle concentration to separation performance, Through the simulation of particle trajectories, studied the cyclone's erosion mechanism and its influencing factors.The air as ideal gas, establish the cyclone model and simulate the gas flow field of cyclone numerical with the RNGk -εturbulence model, the result is that the pressure drop values of simulation is close to The Experimental, and has reached the mainstream is a double-decker cyclone, and it has the same direction of rotation, but the tangential velocity play a leading role.Experimental has studied the separation efficiency of cyclone with different flow, pressure drop and particle concentration, showed the curves of the separation efficiency, pressure drop and the concentration distribution with different flow. The results show that in the same flow condition, the higher the dust concentration, the higher the separation efficiency and the total pressure drop.Based on the simulation results of gas phase flow field, simulated different size particles with discrete binomial model, and obtained particle trajectories,From analyzing there have that: The large-size particles are easy to maintain the original trajectory, so that cyclone dust hopper at the bottom of increased wear and tear,The small-size particles are susceptible to elbow inside the rotating flow and the impact of secondary flow,and formed a so-called"helix-dust-ring", this increased cyclone roof's wear and tear.Thus, it has a certain theoretical significance o study the laws of fluid movement within the cyclone and erosion wear behavior by a numerical simulation method, and has a certain reference value to the designing and structural optimization of Cyclone.
