The solid-liquid cyclone separator has the advantages of simple structure,convenient operation and high separation efficiency.It has been widely used in the field of oil removal,chemical separation and pulp concentration.However,in the actual industrial application process,solid-liquid cyclone separator also has some problems,Mainly in the power consumption,short operating cycle,serious wall wear and so on,in which the wall Erosion problem seriously restricts the development of solid-liquid cyclone separator.Wall Erosion will speed up the failure of the separator,the service life and separation efficiency is seriously reduced.Based on the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method and the combination of numerical simulation and theoretical analysis,the Erosion of the wall of the solid-liquid cyclone separator is studied in detail.This paper describes the use of CFD commercial software Fluent solution solid-liquid swirl separator wall Erosion method.Based on the basic theory of solid-liquid two-phase flow,a transport equation describing the flow characteristics of solid-liquid cyclone separator is established.The motion characteristics of the particles in the liquid-solid two-phase flow are analyzed,and the calculation equation of the wall Erosion is established.The accuracy of the simulation is verified by comparing the results of the pressure drop with the simulation results.On the basis of the above,the simulation of the solid-liquid swirl separator wall Erosion.The results show that the Erosion of the solid-liquid swirl separator is local Erosion,the main Erosion parts are the area of the entrance annular space,the Erosion zone of the cylinder and the lower end of the cone.Annular space wall Erosion rate distribution trend of first increases and then decreases;The cylinder body wall surface Erosion rate wavy distribution,is evident in the peaks and troughs;Down in the cone part along the axial surface is more and more big,the Erosion rate peaked near the end of the cone,then decreased obviously.The effects of different structural parameters(taper angle,overflow pipe diameter,inlet area),inlet form,and operating parameters(inlet velocity,particle concentration,particle size)on the wall Erosion of solid-liquid cyclone separator were studied.The results show that these parameters are the important factors influencing the wall Erosion of the solid-liquid cyclone separator,and have different effects on the wall Erosion and wall Erosion rate of the solid-liquid swirl separator.
