The Industrial Revolution brought about the development of productivity, thus enhancing people's ability to transform nature, the people's dynamic is growing in front of nature. Over-exploitation of nature and seek from nature, emission of pollution and waste shamelessly, causing ecological crisis. Peoples have studied on this issue, from different angles of the population, technology, economic, and cultural,but no one has made a systematic study from the demand point of view. This is also the innovative point of this article. Ecological crisis is a crisis in relations between man and nature, and its nature is the contradiction between the limited natural resources and the infinite human needs.The development of human society has passed a long historical process.The concept of demand developed from the original civilization survival concept demand, the agriculture civilized material concept of demand to the industrial civilization excessive concept of demand. Demand is the inner driver of human behavior, excessive concept of demand has led to mass production mass consumption behavior of a large number of waste production and consumption, causing ecological crisis.In order to mitigate the ecological crisis, we must change the traditional excessive concept of demand to establish ecological concept of demand.
