In recent years, as oil and natural gas resources are depleted, how to efficiently use biomass resources become imminent. Liquefaction, as one of the main use of biomass, has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad. Liquefaction of biomass, which can be used to manufacture adhesive products, molding material, foam and carbon fiber, etc., has a wide application prospect. Waste paper as a resource, have long been used in the manufacture of recycled paper, but the scope of its use is not enough breadth and depth. To further study the use of waste paper and increase utilization of the value of its use for liquefied study, can not only increase the economic value of waste paper, expanding the use of waste paper in the field, but also ease the current shortage of wood resources. This thesis used the method of orthogonal test to study the process of liquefied waste paper, the process of the paper-based process liquefied resin. This thesis was using a variety of instruments and analysis methods:Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) on the liquefaction, liquefied resin structure, characterization analyzed. The conclusions as follow:(1) The waste paper phenol liquefies the optimal craft is:The reaction temperature 150℃, catalyst amount used 10%, liquefaction time 2.5h, the phenol and the waste paper mass ratio (fluid ratio) is 4.5; Under these technological conditions, the liquefied efficiency may achieve 99%.(2) According to single factor and orthogonal tests, the optimal conditions for the resin are determined:the molar ratio of formaldehyde with liquefied 2.1, the resin temperature of 74℃, resin-based time 3h, sodium hydroxide and liquid molar ratio of 0.5. In this condition, the adhesive strength of pressed plywood which is detected by Nation Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Wood and Banboo Products, is 1.42MPa, which is arrived to GB/T9846-2004 classⅠin the strength of plywood requirements.(3) Analysis using IR equipment, waste paper after liquefaction produced more active aromatic derivatives, the overall activity also increases; using XRD instrument analysis, as the temperature, time, amount of catalyst, liquid ratio increased, the waste Paper liquefied residue of crystallinity increased firstly and then decrease; analysis using SEM apparatus, there are micro fibers in the waste paper liquefied remnants which are not completely liquid; analysis using DTA apparatus, paper liquefied resin peak temperature is lower than conventional resins.
