With the constant development of the modern science technology, the performance requirements of mechanical products for various sectors have been greatly improved. Oxygen-free copper with its excellent physical& mechanical properties, good corrosion-resistant and anti-magnetic properties have been widely used in the Oil, Aeronautics & Astronautics and other industries. The parts of Cavity Structure which is Oxygen-free copper often as mainly precision parts in oil, aerospace industry, a study of the honing machining of Cavity Structure on the oxygen-free copper was carried out, so machine level well can be improved and it will play an important role in the development of China's oil, aviation.Cavity of Oxygen-free copper was taken as object of study, and systemic study have been done for the Deep-hole Honing for Cavity of Oxygen-free Copper. According to its materials' grindability, its influencing factors, the Special Structure of Cavity and combining with the experience of factory, we have designed and manufacture a set of special honing head, which can be suitable for processing the Cavity Structure of Oxygen-free copper. The experiment of honing under different grinding parameters has been done for the new honing head. Through the theoretical analysis and experimental research, reasonable grinding parameters and optimal abrasive is identified for the honing head. The solutions of the problems are propounded by analyzing the honing and the problems which encountered by the processing. The testing results show that the machining-process is smooth and the effect of machining is good while we honing the Cavity of Oxygen-free copper by the designed a set of special honing head.
