The heavy precision CNC machine tools is the trend of the development of the equipment manufacturing industry, key components of the ram is the deep hole, the machining of which is a manufacturing technical problem. For my factory, there are some feathers in machining of deep hole in ram of heavy Boring and Milling machine, which is low machining accuracy and unreasonable process. As a result, it is difficult to meet the technical requirements, Designed new processing solutions, planned rational machining process and analysis of finite element method, the final experimental verification.The passage analyzed machining methods of ram deep cavity for heavy machine tools at home and abroad, and compared the deep cavity hole machining program in the same industry, also designed a precision machining technology program of deep bore in heavy-duty, multi-ladder ram.Deep hole machining features for the Ram, the cantilever boring method, hanging wall oriented method and template-oriented method were raised, and which was researched and analyzed; Designed the card mount program and tooling; The finite element method was used to analyze force-deformation of boring bar.Processing program was written and cutting parameters were optimized according to the structural characteristics of the ram, and the influence was analyzed on measurement accuracy of both offline measurement methods and online measurement method.Finally, processing methods designed by the subject was applied on the ram processing experiments. The experimental results show that the method is able to complete the ram deep cavity hole precision machining, and greatly improving the ram deep cavity machining efficiency and precision, The processing method has been used in our factory on the machining of bore deep cavity in ram of Heavy Duty precision Machine Tool.
