The Research And Development On The Optimization System Of Process Parameters Of HS-WEDM Process

CNC WEDM plays a key role in the manufacturing process of researching and developing new products in mechatronics, weapons industry, aerospace and instrumentation industries and other industries. HS-WEDM is the original electron discharge machining of China, Which has great strides in the machine structure, technical level and process indicators. But there are still significant gaps in the machining accuracy, reliability; stability and the degree of automation go with the low-speed WEDM. Processing parameters to be selected reasonably in WEDM plays an important role on ensuring product quality, increasing productivity, reducing production costs. In this paper, On the basis of referring correlative research domestic and aboard, the study of choosing Linear cutting parameters has made and developed the optimization system of process parameters of HS-WEDM process.In this paper WEDM process theory and process characteristics were summarized firstly, by analyzing the research situation of WEDM technical domestic and aboard, presented problems and solution ideas of HS-WEDM. Then experiment scheme was designed combination of three pilot programs:experimental design, orthogonal design and uniform design, collected test data on WEDM, and nonlinear regression model between database, cutting process index and processing parameters was set, processing parameters were selected and optimized using nonlinear optimization methods. Second, prediction model of process indicators was constructed using BP Neural Network, a multi-objective optimization of processing parameters through Genetic Algorithm and combined with neural network structure was made, The optimization system of process parameters of HS-WEDM process was built, the system includes process parameters selection, process indicators forecast, process parameters optimization and process database. Finally, the software for optimization system of process parameters of HS-WEDM process was developed on Windows XP platform using VC++and MATLAB programming method.Using machining parameters obtained from wire-cutting parameter optimization method which proposed in this paper, can prove the processing efficiency effectively and make the selection of processing parameters scientification, rationalization, standardization, which has a guiding role in HS-WEDM's production.
