| In the iron and steel production industry, the quality of rolLCD iron and steel products is directly related to the precision of the work roll in the roll mill. However, the working environment of the work roll is quite poor, making it easy to distort and spall as well as other damages. The precision of the working roll has a direct influence on the quality of the rolLCD steel products, so the parallelism detection and correction of the work roll in the roll mill becomes pretty important.In this thesis, a linear CCD system to measure the work roll in the roll mill accurately is developed, and an electrified transformation of the present turret feeding system in the work roll correction lathe is made the accuracy of the work roll correction is improved. The research is divided into two parts, the first one is the measurement of the roll parallelism using CCD; the second one is the transformation of the electrical system of the roll correction lathe by the use of PLC.In the first part, a proper measurement system of the roll parallelism is choosed, then the CCD as the measurement element by starting from the requirements of the measurement system itself is selested, finally, the CCD-based system model ILX554B is adopted. After analyzing the ILX554B parameters, the CPLD technology to design a driver circuit for the CCD is expolited. As last, the designation of the processing of the signals in the measurement system and the acquisition circuit is developed. In the processing of the CCD signals, the low-pass filter, kind of off pairs of samples, absolute value circuit and the zero-crossing trigger circuit to the CCD's output signals is conducted, and then the collected signals into the LCD by using MSP430F149-based microcontroller is displaied after disposing.In the second part, this thesis mainly deals with the transformation of the old electrical system in the work roll dedicated to roll correction lathe and also changes the speed control system of the old turret feeding system to the frequncy conversion regulation. The PLC and the model of the frequncy converters for the transformation is choosed.The designation of these two parts makes the accuracy and efficiency of the work roll in the roll mill improved a lot and will thus improve the product quality of these enterprises greatly. |
