.1450 Longitudinal Line Design Of The Transformation Of Five-roll Straightening Machine

Advanced technology and suitable equipment are employed for accuracy Pass rebuilding in 1450 hot strip mill. The rebuilt Skin Pass can be used to unknit carbon steel and alloy steel strip in normal temperature, and can enhance the strip surface quality, ensure expectant strip shape and increase mechanical characteristics of the strip. The machine can also be used for shear striping.In this paper, an actual engineering project of hot strip mill in the field of metallurgy is researched and developed.And this project has been applied in the engineering actual.Several aspects of researchers and developments have been described as follow:1. According to analyzing the components and functions of the skin pass line,and technology and control demands in five roll straightening machine,it puts out a improvement solution of five roll straightening machine, also puts out a performance parameters and checking standards of skin pass.2. In technology, the latest technology of mandreless coil transfer and new forming theory are developed and adopted. In this paper the straightening principle, straightening torque are analyzed,the straightening solution of the five roll straightening machine is identified. It makes control system more reasonable and optimized.3. In the design of system parameters, the force and performance parameters of the five roll straightening machine are confirmed; the geometric dimensions,the strength and the deflection of a roller are checked and calculated; the framework geometric dimensions of the five roll straightening machine are determined, the strength and the deflection of the framework are checked and calculated . 4. In the design of the the hydraulic system, the advanced technology and suitable equipment are integrated in the item of Skin Press rebuilt, that include automatic control, automatic sensing and detecting, strip shape control, extension rate automatic control. And the hydraulic principle gragh of the five roll straightening machine of the Skin Press is designed by ourself. The hydraulic station is also designed.5. In this paper the transformation cost and the economic benefits are also analyzed.This this project has been applied in the engineering actual.It is proved by the operation that the improvement is successful.As the five-roll straightening machine's transformation is a systematic project, a number of shortcomings of the transformation are also found in trial operation. In the paper the experience and the inadequate of transformation process are summarized.
