The chemical process system is a complex process system with more interaction,high temperature, high pressure and so on, and it is inflammable and explosive. Because of misoperation, equipment fault, control system fault and so on, major accidents frequently happen in the domestic and foreign chemical process, bringing serious economic loss and social influence. Engineering practice shows that accident which has a gradual process can be avoided if effective preventive measures are taken beforehand, besides a few emergent accidents.Accident prevention information system(APIS)for chemical process based on case in this thesis takes HAZOP analysis results and typical accident cases as it's knowledge base. On the condition of real-time monitoring of the key variables of chemical process, it is possible for the system to get the potential risk of chemical process. In case abnormal situations take place, alarm signal will be given by the system, which can deliver real-time operational guides.In this thesis, knowledge base of APIS is the core content,the main key technologies among which are as follows: (1)According to the problem that traditional HAZOP analysis is non-real-time,and the risk is difficult to be timely identified and the effective treatment suggestions can not be given during the production process, HAZOP application module is developed in this thesis,which is to be one of the knowledge bases of APIS.The merits of it is that it can be applied to the chemical production process with more expert experience.(2)According to the accident repeated emergence problem in chemical process, typical accident case base for chemical process is developed in this thesis, based on overall investigation, statistics and analysis of accident cases. The accidents in this case base consist of abnormal reasons, consequences,accident process and preventive measures. Taking it as one of the information basics to establish knowledge base of accident prevention information system will correspondingly prevent the repeated emergence of major accidents.(3)HAZOP analysis method can identify potential hazard of the equipment system,but this method has some flaw such as its report is not complete and it has not considered interaction of deviation.Typical accident case analysis can make up for these insufficient.APIS unifies HAZOP and typical accident case,making accident prevention to be more comprehensive and pertinent.Furthermore, this paper also illustrates the application of APIS by showing the ways in which to prevent accidents of propylene polymerization reacting process in the MPCE.
