Nanometer-TiO2 modified exterior wall coating is to add the nanometer-TiO2 materials into traditional coatings, disperse and modify traditional coatings, finally, obtain excellent performances. The water-based coatings are the mainstream of the modern coatings, which the less organic solvents, no polluted , security, nontoxic. Nanometer-TiO2 modified the waterborne exterior wall architect coatings has become a burning work because of the importance of its'environmental protection in recent years.In order to improve and increase the comprehensive properties of external wall architectural coatings, in this paper we adopted the inorganic Nano-TiO2 to modify the waterborne fluorocaron coating. In this paper the reunite of nanometer materials was resolved firstly. The disperse and coupling instance of nanometer-TiO2 were studied. We compared and studied the dispersion of rutile nano TiO2 powder in water by different dispersing agents and found the optimal dispersion SK-5040. Then thenanometer materials were rectified by water-solubility silica alkyl coupling agents, and studied the influence of different dispersants dosage,coupling agents dosage,PH dosage and nano TiO2 dosage. We ascertain the optimal dispersion condition by the orthogonal experiment. Under the condition of these, the nanometermaterials slurry were confected. The mechanism of nanometer disperse and rectify were explained. At last, the effects of nanometer materials disperse and rectify were validated by IR,XRD and SEM.The water-based fluorocarbon coatings were confected with the creating film matter by fluorocarbon emulsion. the creating film auxiliary reagent mellowester-12. pigment,padding and other auxiliary reagent. The preparation technics and methods of water-based fluorocarbon coatings modified by nano-TiO2 were probed. We joined the pre-disperse nanometer materials slurry in water-based fluorocarbon coatings at the moment of blending and mixing round, which added the fitting coatings auxiliary reagentand prepared the water-based fluorocarbon coatings modified by nano-TiO2. The composition and preparation of it were optimized. Then we observed the micrograph and microstructure of coatings surface by SEM, The results showed that the effect was the best when nano-TiO2 contents was 3%, the surface of modified fluorocarbon coating was smooth and compact.At last, we examined the general performances and the environmental factors of modified coating, the environmental factors including the content of VOC, the content of formaldehyde. According to GB18582-2001, we used the ultraviolet spectrophotometer to examine the content of VOC, and the gas chromatography meter to examine the content of formaldehyde, the examined results showed that all the environmental factors met the national standards. and the modified coating not only overcomed chap, but also the weather resistance and scrub resistance had extremely advanced. We compared them with the unmodified fluorocarbon coating, the water resistance has an enhancement for 4 times, the acid resistance has an enhancement for 3 times, the alkali resistance the accelerated aging...
