High Performance Fluorocarbon Coating: Preparation And Application In Steel Structure Building

FEVE fluorocarbon coating has excellent weathering and anti-corrosion performance, and FEVE resin could cured with polyisocyanate in room temperature, the film gives the best weathering performance and satisfies flexible application method.This thesis gives a review on the current domestic and foreign situation of steel corrosion, development history of anti-corrosion coating technology, and the structural characteristics and performance of fluorocarbon resin and coating; and also gives an introduction on the development history of fluorocarbon resins and coatings, and different types of FEVE fluorocarbon resins in the domestic market.By the comprehensive performance comparison between domestic and foreign FEVE fluorocarbon resins, the proper resin for the whole system is found out; the different additives effect on coating performance is also researched. Through experiments, optimal aluminum paint formula, which has good application ability, and good physical and weathering performance, is acquired. The isocyanate cross-linking agent, leveling agent, UV absorbent and light stabilization agent materials used in the fluorocarbon clear coating are studied and optimized. The fluorocarbon clear coating thus prepared has excellent anti-aging properties and anti-corrosion performance. In the study of solid color formulation, the dispersion agents are screened by comparison of gloss, leveling of films, and heat storage of paints, and the suitable dispersion agent and its dosage are thus determined. Finally various fluorocarbon paint formula are designed and fluorocarbon paints were prepared with excellent properties.According to the corrosion environment of steel structure building, and the substrate property, suitable primer and mid-coat for the whole anti-corrosion coating system is designed. The evaluation on comprehensive performance of the whole coating systems shows that the film system has outstanding anti-corrosion and weathering performance and can satisfy the requirements of anti-corrosion on steel structure under various corrosion situations.
