Currently, landfill is the main means to process garbage.Landfill leachate which is produced in waste landfill process is a complicated organic wastewater which has high concentreation COD and poor biodegradability. There is no perfect and reliable method for landfill leachates treatment until now. In this paper, aiming at the leachates that come from Chongqing Changshengqiao sanitary landfill, the treatment for later landfill leachats by O3/H2O2 process and the effect for O3/H2O2 process by adding CuO have been studied. It provides foundations for later landfill leachats by O3/H2O2 process.In this study, the O3/H2O2 process has been optimized by single-factor method and orthogonal method. It shows the reaction time is most considerable factor for the removal of COD and colority,biodegradability, and moral ratio of O3/H2O2 is the second. But all the chosen factors are no significantly effect for removal of ammonia nitrogen. The optimum condition included the O3 dosage of 7.5mg/min, the reaction time of 90min, and the O3/H2O2 moral ratio of 4:1. In this condition, the removal of COD, ammonia nitrogen, colority and biodegradability are 46.33%, 18.07%, 90%, 0.15 respectively.In the research on the effect for O3/H2O2 process by adding CuO, it found the treatment effect of O3/H2O2 process has improved by increasing the dosage of O3 and rising the reactor time. The dosage of O3 for eliminating 1mg COD decreased 21%. It improves treatment effect for O3/H2O2 process. But the effect for improving the O3/H2O2 process is dropping by increasing the dosage of CuO and rising the reactor time. In this condition, the optimal dosage and reactor time is 3g/L and 90min. On the other hand, the optimal moral ratio is 4. In the heterogenous catalytic oxidation process, the optimum condition included the O3 dosage of 7.5mg/min, the reaction time of 90min, and the O3/H2O2 moral ratio of 4:1, the CuO dosage of 3g /L. the removal of COD, ammonia nitrogen, colority and biodegradability are 49.4%, 19.1%, 95%,0.176 respectively. The O3 dosgage for eliminating 1mg COD is 0.641mgO3/mgCOD.In this study, it found first-level reactor ratio equation and total reactor ratio ratio equation by utilizing the test data, researching on the dynamics model, anlysising the mechanism of the heterogenous catalytic oxidation process as follow: is the Pseudo-first-order rate constant The EE/O value of O3-H2O2-CuO heterogenous catalytic oxidation process is 136kW.h/Order/m3.
