Yellow River Delta is one of three major river delta in china, with outstanding land resources, advantageous geographical location, abundant natural resources, unique ecosystems and preferable industrial development foundation. The area of wasteland resources, shallow beaches and marshes, rich wetland vegetation and aquatic biological resources is very large. They provide a good habitat for the birds surviving and migrating in winter, so it becomes an important transit point, wintering habitat and breeding grounds of Northeast Asia and the Western Pacific, in the Yellow River Delta the second largest oil field of China-Shengli Oilfield is located. This study will provide a scientific basis for habitat protection of red-crowned cranes and other rare species in the wetlands, and can serve as a reliable reference to the coordination between economic development and ecological conservation in the Yellow River Delta, as well as other similar area.Based on four pieces of TM imagery which is in 1986,1996,2001,2007 respectively, twenty topographic maps of 1980 whose scale is 1:50000,and field investigation, the habitat pattern of wild animal and red-crowned cranes in the Modern Yellow River Delta is analyzed with RS and GIS. Spatial diversity (Sd) is applied to describe the temporal and spatial variation between 1986 and 2007 in the process. From the analysis of the habitat quality and the causes of habitat changes the performance of natural regeneration patterns in the last 20 years is assessed. According to different ecological and economic development requirements, we select a plan area which is between the two parts of Yellow River Delta Nature Reserve and include a small part of the experimental area, four land use planning scenarios are designed based on the scenarios approach and the evaluation ideas of Landscape Ecological Decision and Evaluation Support System whose Abbreviation is LEDESS, the ecological and economic benefits of the four scenarios are comprehensived evaluated, at last we select the best plan. With the help of my teacher ,I accomplish my Master's thesis, now I show the research results as follows:(1) Performance evaluation results: In the study period, significant changes of whether integrated wildlife habitat qulity or indicator species red-crowned crane habitat qulity have taken place because of human disturbance, the area of suitable habitat is shrinking, the degree of landscape fragmentation is deepening, and the habitat connectivity continuously reduces, habitat quality is decreasing. Take the red-crowned crane as an example, in the recent 20 years the area of Crane's unsuitable habitat (Sd≤0.5) showes an increasing trend, the proportion of its area gradually enlarged, which accounted for 64.94%, 71.35%,77.06% and 77.06% in 1986, 1996 ,2001 and 2007 respectively; the area proportion of region( Sd≤0.25) is 56.45% in 1986 ,then increases to 77.52% in 2007, which increases by nearly 122200hm2. Although the high value area (Sd> 0.65) showes a increasing sign, the area(Sd> 0.5)has a clear downward trend, on the order of chronological, the proportion of four-phase area is respective 35.06%, 28.66%, 22.93% and 17.49%.(2) Landscape plan sduty results: Although good economic effect, the habitat quality of plan 1 (the current state) is the worst in the four plans, taking food production as the purpose is a typical development model which doesn,t use the coordinated development of ecology and economy. The economic benefits of plan 2 (the state in 1986) is the worst, the economic evaluation index is only 6.47, the eco-efficiency is also very general, only being the third in the four plans, also achieving the status in 1986 from the current status needs lots of complex and diverse measures,so it is difficult to achieve the purpose. Through the development of reed , alfalfa and crabs field in plan 3 ecological and economic benefits both enhance, the index of ecological suitability increases to 12.3.Based on plan 3,plan 4 has a larger area-wide habitat restoration and compensation, connecting alfalfa on the northern coast and reed field along the Yellow River, and forms a near natural habitat.Ecological and economic benefits have reached the maximum, respectively 0.394,12.33.Plan 3 and plan 4 give us a reference for the coordination of ecological and economic development,we can regard them as a short-term and long-term planning goals of the district separately and implement them step by step,I believe that the ecological and economic benefits in the Yellow River Delta will be very good in the future through our efforts.
