Filler for papermaking industry, can reduce the manufacturingcost of paper, and can give paper some special properties, but because of its great damage to the strength properties of paper, the dosage of filler in some paper with high strength properties required can be restricted, it also leads to the manufacturingcost of pape drop small space. In order to solve the above problem, this study select wollastonite and gypsum whisker as the research object, to research filling technology of industrial wrapping paper with originally not fill any non-fiber materials and strength properties demanding systematically, and compared with the commonly used traditional filler as calcium carbonate and talcum powder, discuss the feasibility of transform industrial wrapping paper with originally not fill to fill. At present there is no systematic theoretical research and sophisticated technology for industrial wrapping paper in domestic, this study on the implementation of this technology and reduce the manufacturingcost of industrial wrapping paper has practical significance.Research found that filling wollastonite, calcium carbonate and talcum powder make the strength properties of paper decrease, but the extent of the damage of wollastonite to the strength properties of paper is less than calcium carbonate and talcum powder, gypsum whisker can strengthen the strength properties of paper, the strength properties of paper is maximum when the dosage of gypsum whisker is 35%, and the strengthen effect is similar to cationic polyacrylamide with the dosage of 0.2% and 0.5%. The strength properties of filled paper increase with the beating degree increase, the influence of filling on the strength properties of paper made in different beating degree is consistent. Experiment obtains the best beating degree is 38°SR.With the dosage of filler increase, the ash content of paper gradually increase, and the retention of filler in paper gradually decrease, under the same dosage, the retention from large to small is wollastonite, talcum powder, calcium carbonate and gypsum whisker, the retention increase with beating degree increase.The manufacturingcost of wrapping paper gradually drop with the dosage of wollastonite, calcium carbonate and talcum powder increase, the decrement of wollastonite is largest, talcum powder secondly and calcium carbonate is minimum.Filling gypsum whisker make the manufacturingcost of wrapping paper increase, but gypsum whisker has enhancements which the other three kinds of fillers do not have, increase of beating degree can improve the manufacturingcost of filled wrapping paper.The strength properties of filled paper drop slightly after sizing, the influence of filling on the strength properties of paper is consistent before anf after sizing, wollastonite and gypsum whisker is still better than calcium carbonate and talcum powder.In this experimental condition, the strength properties of non-filling paper can reach A level standard of kraft paper. Paper can reach A level standard of kraft paper when the dosage of wollastonite is 5%, can reach B level standard of kraft paper when the dosage of wollastonite is 10%-20%, can reach C level standard of kraft paper when the dosage of wollastonite is 25%-35%, the strength properties of paper can reach A level standard of kraft paper when the dosage of gypsum whisker is 25%-40%, can reach B or C level standard of kraft paper when the dosage of gypsum whisker is lower or higher than this range and below 50%, but the strength properties of paper can only reach C level standard of kraft paper when the dosage of calcium carbonate and talcum powder is over 5%, the strength properties of paper is substandard when the dosage is respectively 20% and 15%.SEM and EDXA analysis show that wollastonite and gypsum whisker can be effectively filled to the paper, disperses well and distributes evenly in the paper.
