Cold feed rubber machines, which prompt the evolution of the rubber processing industry, are one of the most important forming equipments in the fields of rubber processing. During the long-time development of the cold feed rubber machine, the screw of extruding machine, as the important component, attracted our extensive study and exploration, and got new different types one after another.. But the improvement of plasticizing capacity did not bring the improvement of productive capacity of the extruder as it deserves, one of the vital factors is the deficiency in the ability of feeding. Both the former free feed and the present simple rolled feed can't meet the requirements of the development of the extruder's plasticizing capacity.The subject has made deep researches and profound explorations on the equipment and theory of helical intermeshing feed device, and, based on this, designed a bran-new extruder—research on helical intermeshing cold feed extruder. The feed-optimized extruder enhances the feed capacity significantly, and makes a prominent improvement on the productive ability.Also, the design of the rubber extruder in the subject has been put into use, and its practical value is high. Thus, the concept is the best proof that, in the field of traditional design of rubber extruder, theories can direct practice and practice can verify theories, and is of great significance,In present, the existing CAD systems of rubber machines mostly make a secondary development and plotting on different extrude screws, and can't measure up to the standard of whole-machine developing. As a result, these CAD systems either tarry at the theoretical research or just be used as a portion. Meanwhile, the early development environment of the CAD system is early and the technology is too immature, which causes many questions, just like that it is hard to fulfill the requirement of the diversification of the complex system., it is difficult to realize the augmentability and the reusability of the software, and it is difficult to solve the problems of out-of-process and cross-platform implantation and distributed application and so on, and so on. The present popular programming environment——.NET Framework have features of consolidated Integrated Develop Environment(IDE), truly object oriented, Common Language Runtime(CLR), new generation method of data access,and multi-thread direct support and so on, rather than a simple upgrading of the old edition of the application program. Based on the above reasons, redevelop CAD system of rubber machine used new language and new design method is both inevitable and necessary.Based on the design and development of helical intermeshing cold feed extruder, the treatise structured the design philosophy of actuating the secondary development of the whole rubber extruder used CAD. This design chooses Visual Basic and.NET 2005 as the develop language, selects Access 2003 Database to memory the empirical formula and data of cold feed extruder for the operations of inquiring, updating and assignment and so on, and, used the technology of ActiveX, invokes the software of AutoCAD 2004 to finish the modularization design and the parametric design of the whole extruder and the components and parts, and finally complete the drawing and picturing of the whole extruder and the components.The issue raised on the rubber extruder machine design concept is the direction of future development about secondary development of rubber mechanical CAD. It is the leading role to the subject which has far-reaching significance. To code under the guidance of this design procedure, CAD system could design and generate extruder fast, feature-rich, and with good scalability. The system is a rubber machinery model of the secondary development of mechanical CAD.
