The industrial control systems developed to a high degree of automation computer control system, with the rapid development and the combination of computer technology, control technology, communications technology, sensor technology, and the penetration of automation technology and computer technology especially. Industrial control computer, as the core of mechatronic systems, is developing to integrated, intelligent and network.This article aims at the piston ring's assembly of automobile and motorcycle engines, while the quality of assembly reflect engines'security. Research on automatic control system of assembly plays a particularly important part in achieving fully automatic flexible assembly.The control system uses IPC and PLC distributed structure mainly, which meets the requirements of the piston wreath flexible assembly and industrial on-site environment. PLC and its expansion module are used at the bottom of site control for the assembly of mechanical system control; while the data is attained from data acquisition card in the process of running the system. A Germany IPC, constitutes the supervision layer of system, which is an operation stop. The IPC achieves on-site monitoring and attains data in process of manufacturing through the communication of the PLC,its extension modules, data acquisition card. At the same time it achieves a good human-computer interaction function, completing the assembly process interface operations, data processing and display, and report print output. Compared with other types of control methods, the whole system indicates a control concept, "decentralized control, centralized management" on hierarchical in structure and function distribution.This paper gives a detailed introduction on the control system of the working principle and system design, by deep research and analysis of industrial computer-controlled piston assembly; comparing with main hardware features and functions of different control devices for controlling the system, the author makes sure hardware selection; the paper makes full use of the communication control technology, using SINEC-L2 network topology for system expansion of the network; optimizing and analyzing AC servo motor drive system in the different control strategies under the current controller, while modeling and simulating two different types of the speed of servo control system controller, etc; emphasizing on the control system for monitoring the application of software interface design, and the PLC control procedures on logic control programmed by mechanical systems; analyzing a variety of interference existed in the control system, and taking anti-jamming technology into the system, enhancing system reliability.Piston wreath assembly distributed control system has been put into use, running stable and operating easily. It improves piston wreath assembly efficiency and quality, and reflects a good market for practical value.
