Vehicle energy saving is one of the three major themes in the vehicle industry. Because of the increased energy consumption, vehicle energy saving conservation was much concerned by people. The related research indicated that, only about one third of the energy generated by the moto vehicle fuel combustion was used effectively, other energy is released into the atmosphere, this not only caused a waste of energy, but Also brought adverse environmental impact. Therefore, the full use of waste heat emissions of the motors is a research direction to realize energy saving and lower emissions. This article classified the proposed methods of vehicle waste heat recovery and made a comprehensive analysis throgh comparison. The usage of exhaust turbine for generating is proposed to be an ideal method. Here also made primary and further design for exhaust gas exports, channel, turbine blades and exhaust systems. This design giving the vehicle the advantages of high conversion efficiency, low consumption, stable operation and reasonable cost. This is leading improvement among the domestic and international gas utilization technologies. It has significant economic and environmental benefits. Morover, it help reduce noise and conversion equipment problems.Firstly, by analyzing the energy contained in vehicle exhaust, we know the great use value and also worked out the available energy. Secondly, this article introduced how the exhaust gas power generation works and proposed the energy-efficient exhaust system solutions, also designed for vehicle. Thirdly, because the original exhaust system which for turbine power generation technology can not adapt to existing equipment, we have redesigned the exhaust system and turbine blades by using the optimized design of the turbine section for vehicle.
