Safety Evaluation Of Drilling Operations Based On Knowledge Management

Drilling operation as an important part in the course of oil extraction, there are some complex uncertain elements, which may lead to serious results. We can take measures in advance to avoid accidents, reduce risk, reduce cost, save energy and improve management level of drilling industry through safety evaluation on drilling course.First, study the technology of the sensors and the data acquisition, and summary the common accidents mechanism and parameters characteristics based on the experts and workers of rich experiences. Establish knowledge bases based on the parameters characteristics, according to which we can judge the possible accidents.Second, put the several reasons that lead to the common accidents with bone model, set the fault trees of the common destructive accidents, and calculate the minimum cut set or the minimum path sets, which lay a foundation for programming and put forward the corresponding preventive measures, and make the emergency rescue plans.Third, analysis the drilling hazard, and set the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation index system based on the hazard. Decide the membership degree based on AHP (analytic hierarchy process), then make the safety evaluation on the drilling process, make clear the safety condition, and we can take remedial measures according to each score. And set an example to describe the safety evaluation process.Finally, develop the safety evaluation system based on knowledge management of drilling operation with Visual Basic object-oriented language. We can review the hazard factors of drilling course and make whole safety evaluation on drilling course with suitable evaluation methods. If the safety condition can't meet our requirement, we can analysis the promising accidents further and calculate the probabilities of the different accidents, and we can make real-time evaluation on drilling operation.
