Now that environmental protection is a big issue, We have to pay the increasing price for environmental pollutions. With the development of science and technology, more and more attention have been paying to detecting the quality of water, therefore researching and developing the new water quality analyzer, by which we can analyze water quality in the on-line and real-time way, are gradually becoming a focus.This issue is application research related to multi-sort and several branches of academic study. We devoted abundant time and energy to analysis method, material selection, chemical reagent prescription and design of inspection system, then an integrated CODMn value online inspection method is established and obtained realization. The thesis discusses the methods of designing intelligent analysis instruments. The instrument, which adopts the familiar method to detect CODMn, hangs together luminosity analysis and flow injection analysis, and then controls the analysis process by micro-controller ship.The thesis introduces the whole process from chemistry, meehanism, electrocircuit, optics and appearance design. Propose the overall design plan of the water quality analyzer after learning from the existing on-line water quality analyzer at home and abroad and considering the working conditions and requirements of our analyzer according to the principle of potassium permanganate spectrophotometry and the direction of development of existing analytical analyzer.Fluid Systems equipment into modules, photometric detection system module, the control system module, computer interface module, power supply module, temperature control system module, data storage/printing/transfer modules and other major modules. Fluid system uses advanced technology high-precision peristaltic pump, pump speed control program can be set, uniform and stable pump speed to ensure the accuracy of sampling; optical detection system uses photometric titration end point detection method, more intuitive and easy to determine; In the digital processing module Low-Powered, high-performanced microcontroller 80C196KC and peripheral chips are used in this design and systerm software has the ability to store and display historical data, to function intelligently with Chinese/English interface. By using HG320240B screen with true color, a friendly user interface is established. for the special request in factory, the instrument adopts the standard RS-485 and 4~20mA's standard electric current data transmission which can transmits the analysis result into other place beyond 60 meters. So the whole system is highly precise, low-Powered, multi-functioned, stable and easy-to-use.By experimenting and debugging, The instrument cannot only be used in on-line analysis but also be used in off-line analysis. The whole analysis process can be completed automatically. Furthermore the sampling quantity and velocity are adjustable. Intelligent analysis process comes true at last. The whole process can complete within 35 minutes, making the standard deviation to±0.5 mg/L and the measurement precision to±5 %. It achieves really effect of saving time and energy. Discuss some of the performances related with this analyzer according to the experimental data to gather experience for the new researches on the on-line analyzer for quality analysis of water.For the development at Present, the author summarizes the content of this dissertation and the work accomplished by the author, describe the orientation of analytical instrument development and investigation in prospect.
