Cigarette smoke is hazardous to health, however, it contains thousands of chemical ingredients, and various elements in the release of smoke are great difference. The interaction of these chemicals will affect the toxicity of the cigarette smoke. This thesis studies cigarette smoke as the research subject; 4 (methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone, ammonia, benzo (a) pyrene, phenol and crotonaldehyde as the target compounds, and combines the adjustment of these five harmful components'content in cigarette smoke, uses various evaluation methods of vitro toxicological, evaluates the effects of these five harmful ingredients on cigarette smoke. The results are as follows:With the increasing of these five tested chemical subjects' content, the cytotoxicity of cigarette smoke is increasd, it shows a dose-response relationship.4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone, crotonaldehyde and benzo (a) pyrene can synergy with other cigarette smoke components, thereby increase the cytotoxicity of cigarette smoke.Considering the real release quantity of these five tested chemicals in cigarette smoke, five kinds of subjects to cigarette smoke cytotoxicity is the greatest impact by B [a] P, followed by crotonaldehyde, and then followed by ammonia and phenol, by NNK last. With these five kinds of chemicals according to the release of the cigarettes smoke increased exponentially, genotoxicity of cigarette smoke increased significantly, and there is no significant differences between the effects of these five tested chemicals impact the genotoxicity of cigarette smoke.
