PVC/wood flour composites has the advantage of good processing properties, mechanical properties and lower cost, especially excellent wood texture.It has been applied in many occasions. In order to further broaden its application range, the paper modified its fire-retardant anti-electrostatic properties, after the composite material can be applied to anti-electrostatic flooring, military ammunition box, pipe and other coal mines. The study was carried out in the aspects as follows:(1) By add to anti-electrostatic agent and superconducting carbon black, the surface resistivity and mechanical properties of PVC/wood flour composites with different level were discussed. The results showed that:adding anti-electrostatic agents cannot effectively reduce the surface resistivity of composite materials. The surface resistivity of the composite achieve to 5.28×10 8Ω/sq in the loading of 20 dosage of carbon black, can achieve the requirements of pipe in coal mine, at the same time the tensile and flexural strength increased.SEM photographs shows, superconducting carbon black in PVC/wood flour composites are evenly dispersed. And the distance between the conductive particles is closer by the increase of the amount of carbon black.(2) Cone calorimeter studies show that:Carbon black was added, the composite average heat release rate increased, the total heat release remains the same, smoke production rate and total smoke production are reduced, which reduces the total smoke production of 28%, and increase the rate of promoting charring.(3) The properties of flame and smoke suppression were studied by add 10 and 15 dosage ZB in PVC/wood flour composites, results showed that:by adding ZB to the composite, average heat release rate and total heat release decrease, smoke production rate and total smoke production are reduced, because the thermal degradation process of polyvinyl chloride has been changed by the adding of ZB, the rate of promoting charring increased. Also found that a different amount of ZB has little difference in Combustion Performance.(4)Through added 20dosage conductive carbon black,10 dosages ZB in PVC/wood flour composites, a comprehensive analysis of its fire-retardant properties and mechanical properties. The results showed that:ZB change the heat release process of anti-static carbon black/PVC/ wood flour composites, the heat release rate curves change significantly, the average heat release rate decreased by 20%, total heat release reduce significantly, played a fire-retardant effect. And smoke production rate and total smoke production are reduced; the total smoke production decreased by 46%, smoke suppression effect is obvious, the rate of promoting charring increased.
