The continuous casting production has developed towards high-efficient technology during steel-making, which requires the continuous casting equipment with higher efficiency and strength to work. The research shows that the mould oscillation device is the key to achieve efficient, accurate and stable production. The ultra-low frequency vibration, which produces during working, affects directly the quality, yield and safety of the continuous casting production. Therefore, many researches have focused on the monitoring and analyzing of the ultra-low frequency vibration of the mould oscillation device in the continuous casting technology.The ultra-low frequency signal has the features of low frequency, much noise, long measurement time and so on. It is still difficult to analyze it accurately in the field of engineering measurement. Now there are few systems for the online detection of the ultra-low frequency vibration of the mould oscillation device, and the measuring accuracy is low. This thesis analyzed the vibration characteristics of the mould oscillation device, and studied and developed the measuring system of ultra-low frequency vibration, based on the understanding of the development status and trend in this field.The thesis introduces in details the overall scheme, the hardware design, the software design and the testing method of the system. The capacitive acceleration sensor, the signal conditioning module and the USB data acquisition module are used as the hardware foundation, and the software was developed based on the Labview virtual instrument platform. The system is consisted of the acquisition setting, the signal analysis, the data storage and the data query modules. Considering the signal characteristics of the mould oscillation device, the classical and modern signal processing technologies are used,and combined with various form of graphics. The effective integration method has been developed to reduce the calculation error between AVD (acceleration, velocity, and displacement). The system signal processing ability has been improved by the use of the signal processing functions of MATLAB through the node provided by Labveiw and the software interface of MATLAB. In addition, the testing methods of the system have been studied. The system capability has tested through the standard digital signal generator and the special designed vibration table, and has compared with the XM-121 low frequency measuring system from ENTEK-USA.The research result has indicated that the functions of the modules of the system achieved the desired goal. This system has the features of high measuring accuracy, high expansibility, friendly interface, large range for low-frequency measurement, and so on. It has realized the multi-channel synchronous measurement, and satisfies entirely the requirement for the analysis of the ultra-low frequency signal of the mould oscillation device.
