The sugar cane juice clarification is the costly and difficult technological process in the sugar-refinery. Sulfurous acid method is the most common method in domestic sugar-refinery. sulfurous acid method is a clarification method which add the lime and sulfurous acid into the sugar cane juice.The sulfurous acid method is a typical adsorbent process. This paper tried to improve the effect of the clarification by addition of ultrasonic wave to enhance adsorbent process of the calcium sulfite. The main contents of studies were as follow:(1) The effects of ultrasonic wave (action mode,power and action time) on color of the sugar cane juice was researched. Best effect was achieved when the ultrasonic wave acted at the power of 260 W,the time of 30 s and after the addition of PAM. In these conditions, the percent of the decolorization is 59.1%,Significantly higher than the blank experiment 45.7%.(2) The effects of ultrasonic wave (action mode,power and action time) on colloid content of the sugar cane juice was researched. Best effect was achieved when the ultrasonic wave acted at the power of 1950 W,the time of 30 s and after the addition of PAM. In these conditions, the percent of the removal of colloid content is 17.51%,Significantly higher than the blank experiment 10.55%.(3) The effects of ultrasonic wave (action mode,power and action time) on apparent purity of the sugar cane juice was researched. Best effect was achieved when the ultrasonic wave acted at the power of 260 W,the time of 90 s and after the addition of PAM. In these conditions, the percent of the raise of apparent purity is 2.13%,Significantly higher than the blank experiment 1.34%.(4) The adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm enhanced by ultrasound were researched.The kinetics equation and isotherm equation enhanced by ultrasound were got.The results indicated that the adsorption of the calcium sulfite under ultrasonic is mainly particle dispersion. In the three temperature of the experiment,the adsorption isotherm can better meet Freundlich equation.
