Cucurbituril is among the 4th generation molecular compounds, and of great concerns due to its application potential in such fields as molecular recognition, assembling, catalysis, sewage disposal and circumstantial monitoring. Several kinds of cucurbituril were synthesized in our study, and some of them, which were well-watersoluble, were investigated on their molecular recognition effect of trimeric cyanamide, o-diaminobenzene and 9,10-diaminophenyl anthracene by fluorescence titration. The range of cucurbituril molecular recognition was further broadened and toxicant determination was developed based on supramolecular inclusion-complexes, which was a new orientation of cucurbituril. There are five chapters in the full text:Chapter One A brief summary of the origin, synthesis and characteristics of cucurbituril; an introduction of the development of cucurbituril on molecular recognition; our design was also put through according to the previous experiences.Chapter Two Cucurbituril was synthesized on the basis of references and characterized by HNMR and FT-IR..Chapter Three The inclusion-complex effect of CB[7] on toxic trimeric cyanamide was studied. The complex constant was calculated and the machanisms were also investigated. Molecular simulation was employed to infer possible complex mode. A food-analysis method of watersoluble cucurbituril was developed.Chapter Four The inclusion-complex behavior of CB [7] on toxic o-diaminobenzene was studied. The complex constant was calculated and the machanisms were also investigated. The effect of surfacts on the inclusion-complex of CB [7]. A new application field of circumstantial monitoring of CB [7] was developed.Chapter Five The inclusion-complex effect of CB [7] and 9,10-diaminophenyl anthracene was studied based on the supramolecular system. The complex constant was also calculated. Chapter Six The work of thesis was summarized briefly, and a prospect of this research in future was proposed.
