In recent years, with the development of petrochemical industry in China, its water consumption and emissions are growing. After secondary treatment, the petrochemical wastewater is rich in organic matter and phosphorus. If directing emissions, not only cause serious pollution on the environment, but also cause waste of water resources. If we can recycle this part of the water in production aftet depth of treatment, which not only reduce environmental pollution, and bring great economic benefits to its companies.In this thesis, our target is the wastewater of the 450# sewage treatment plant, one of sewage treatment plants of Liaoyang Petrochemical Company. Through the research of depth treatment and recycling technology, we choose the "coagulation + sedimentation + filtration" technology, which can make the petrochemical wastewater meets the water quality requirements. At the same time we design and develop a new reciprocating flocculation reactor by the studying of the flocculation kinetics, describe the feature of the new flocculation reactor, and verify its high efficiency by experiment and mathematical modeling.The innovation of this thesis is:designing a new type of reciprocating flocculation reactor, the flocculation reactor has the following features:arc-shaped turn channel, velocity gradient gradually changes, and the changes of velocity gradient consistent with the requirements of coagulation kinetics. The arc-shaped channel corner of the new reciprocating flocculation reactor can eliminate the dead zone in the corner of the traditional reciprocating flocculation reactor; changed the rapid speed direction change of the traditional reciprocator flocculation tank, reducing the flocculation energy consumption; the same time, the arc-shaped channel corner can produce the centrifugal force of inertia, and thus generate a large number of micro-vortex, improved the flocculation efficiency. The velocity gradient of the new reciprocating flocculation reactor changes gradually, reducing the shear force on particles and consisting with the demond of the process of flocculation and flocculation dynamics. Effciencient flocculation and improve flocculation effluent quality.
