It is good for reducing the cost and improve the quality of steel-making by upgrading iron concentrate, so most of researches had been concentrating on how to upgrading the iron concentrate. The evaluation methods of efficiency of concentration are misleaded by this position, the merits of a process is mostly assessed by the iron concentrate and the percent recovery of its process, such as the Hancock and the Flemyng. Rory Tibbals and Kim N.Unger put forward a view that thers is a more closely relations between prece and demand than the Metal Industries and the cost of production, just like other Industries. The grade and the percent recovery of iron ore concentrate production should be defined by the lowest cost.In the theoretical basis, the author puts forward a view that the grade and the percent recovery of iron ore concentrate should be depend on the maximized economy, not only the minimized cost.In this article, there are two mathematical models, ore dressing model and economy model, which are builded to analyze how the producing method influence the economy, and which are used to compute the ability of earning porfit, directing production.The results indicated that a cert iron ore concentrate factory should purchase TFe 52%, d55=0.074 mm rough concentrate,C=3.0, magnetic field strength 11 kA/m, NaOH 2500 g/t, SD 1400 g/t, Ca(OH)2450 g/t, LP-4850 g/t at the current market conditions, which can earn a profit of Y632459 eveyday.
