Granite is a high hard-brittle material, whose machining cost determines market competitiveness of product. Sawing cost occupies a large portion of machining cost. And there has no formed systematic high efficiency machining parameters yet at present. Therefore, the granite sawing processing situation was analyzed firstly in this paper, and the high efficiency sawing technology of sawing granite based on circular diamond saw blade were studied in the advanced CNC machining center.The orthogonal experiment with three factors and three levels of cutting speed, feeding speed and back cutting depth was adopted in the research of granite high efficiency sawing technology. In the experiment, the influence of each factor on the cutting force during granite processing was analyzed by range analysis, and then the major and minor relationship among each factor was obtained. The mathematical model of each cutting force was established by regressive analysis with excel. Through this model the cutting force can be forecasted simply with the certain process parameters. Finally, comprehensively considering the cutting force and material removing efficiency, the process parameters were optimized and the optimum process parameters combination was obtained.The research result of this paper is beneficial to process parameter selection in practical production and which has important guiding significance for high efficiency sawing attained by optimum combination of process parameters in the practical production.
