The Research On The Application Of Decorative Fabric In Current Common Style Interior Design

Decorative fabric is widely used in modern interior design and it plays more and more important role in building the style of interior space. However, applying and selecting it during the design is not so reasonable that influences the integrity of the overall style. This article discussed how to use decorative fabric to strengthen the atmosphere in current common interior style.This paper analyzed the connection between decorative fabric and interior design by referring to the documents of them. The methodologies of the study is documentary. Then made the research on the content of common interior styles and analyzed the application and performance of decorative fabric in the case. After that combined the comprehensive and analysis methodologies, for the common interior styles:new Chinese style, the new classical style, the garden style, made the analysis of how to use the decorative fabric. It exploited the performance and contrast of the form, texture, color and pattern of decorative fabric. It proves that the form and amount of the application of decorative fabric is different in distinct interior style. According to the content of different decorative style it assert that using the forms, colors, pattern and texture of decorative fabric rationally on the basis of the overall style characterize is the fundamental principle and it can better afford to contrast to the style of work.
