The traditional cotton bleaching process with hydrogen peroxide, which is under high temperature, has several advantages such as high whiteness, solidity to yellowing, and relatively less environmental contamination, but there still exist some drawbacks such as high energy consumption, and fiber damage. In order to improve the hydrogen peroxide bleaching process, it is vital to reduce the temperature bleaching process by catalysts which have high efficiency in catalytic activity. Reference on the biomimetic catalysis property of metallophthalocyanine and their derivatives in the pulp bleaching industry, and then apply them as oxygen bleaching activator into hydrogen peroxide low temperature bleaching process in expectation to improve the bleaching efficiency and whiteness of fibers, and reduce the production cost.In this study, we synthesize six kinds of metallophthalocyanines including tetracaboxylic phthalocyanine CoPcTc, MnPcTc, FePcTc; metal octacaboxylic phthalocyanine CoPcOc, FePcTc; and sulfonated phthalocyanine MnPcTs. IR, UV, TGA, EA were used to characterize the metallophthalocyanine. In this study, we discuss pH content of catalyst, and temperature affect the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. In addition, we bleach the cotton fabrics, which undergone different process, characterize their whiteness, and finally find out the optimization process in industry.The optimization process of the steaming pre-treatment process of cotton fabric are listed in the followings:JFC 2g/L, MA-AA 0.2g/L,30%H2O230 g/L,catalyst CoPcTc 15μmol/L, use lOg/L NaOH to adjust the pH=9.5, then the steaming temperature is 80℃, time is 60min. The advantage of the process can be proved by the result of whiteness:71.4%, warp breaking strength retention is 94.2%, and the latitudinal breaking strength retention is 96.8%. Compared with traditional hydrogen peroxide under high temperature bleaching process, the process temperature is lower and less sodium hydroxide is needed, thus the process is less energy consumption and more environmental friendly.The optimization process of cooled reactor of cotton fabric are as follows:JFC 2g/L, pectinase 2g/L, amylase 2g/L, XT-A 1.5g/L, dosage of H2O230g/L, MnPcTc 9umol/L, additive A 5g/L. use Na2CO3/NaHCO3 to adjust the pH=9, then the cooled reactor temperature is 40℃, time is 6h. The whiteness of treated fabric:49.3%, got a higher breaking strength retention and less cotton seed shell. Metal phthalocyanine complexes reduced the bleaching temperature and pH under the premise of having good bleaching effect.The optimization process for impregnated bleaching of knitted fabric is as follows:pretreat the knitted fabric in water at 98℃for 2min. Liquor ratio 1:20, H2O2 of 6g/L, the concentration of the catalyst CoPcTc 7.5μmol/L, Na2Si030.8g/L, impregnated bleached 60min, the whiteness of knitted fabric after treatment increased with less strenghth loss.
