Magnetic Abrasive Finishing is a new technology to finish the surface of workpiece with the grinding stress generated by magnetic abrasive particles in magnetic field.This technology is widely used in pharmaceutical industry, aviation spacecraft, precision and measuring instruments, with its good advantage of flexibility, adaptive ability and self-sharpening.Magnetic abrasive finishing equipment is an important condition to ensure the fishing.But now most Magnetic Abrasive Finishing equipments are changed from conventional machine.They have large size, and many processing parameters can't be turned easily.The factors to impact magnetic abrasive finishing quality and efficiency can be categorized as follows:magnetic induction intensity of magnetic pole head, workpiece material, processing space, workpiece turning speed, axial vibration, vertical feeding speed, etc. Based on the above-mentioned process parameters, through the simulation analysis of ANSYS simulation software, this paper gives an entity modeling of Magnetic abrasive equipment with 3d software Solidworks, and the main contributions are described as follows:1.Through the magnetic circuit theoretical calculation, this paper has designed a magnetic abrasive device which is suitable for small axial parts. In it, Magnetic coil number is N=5000 (coil in each side is 2500), workpiece is mild steel, exciting current is I=1A,the magnetic induction in Middle section place is B≈1.74T.2. Conclusion through the simulation analysis of 2D vector of ANSYS simulation software:The magnetic lines of magnetic materials are more stronger than magnetic materials in processing area; the magnetic induction of abrasive particles in processing area basically matins at 1.0T around, and the maximum is no more than 1.3T, which has met the design requirement of magnetic induction B=0.8T-1.2T.3. The magnetic abrasive device is improved through the simulation analysis of 3D vector of ANSYS simulation software.The magnetic induction of improved device has remarkably weakened at the shoulder place of the core fixing coil, the magnetic concentrated phenomenon has been improved, the magnetic induction is basically between 0.7T-1.5T, and the maximum is 1.7T in processing area.4. The symmetrical double eccentric cricoid vibrating device designed can ensure the two eccentric wheels reverse movement synchronously precisely, which is better than the function of the crank block structure.5. A feeding transmission system has been designed whicn style is screw nut transmission.A spindle system has been also designed whicn type is horizontal and vertical, and sets position by screw nut transmission. They complete the modulation of vertical and turning speed by frequency variable motor.The magnetic abrasive equipment designed by this paper is used to research and discuss in MAF's machining mechanism. We can find out the optimal parameters relation of processing parameters effecting on result of magnetic abrasive finishing through it. This equipment is more valuable. When the magnetic abrasive finishing develops maturely, the equipment will be applied to practical production and there will be great economic benefits and social benefits.
