Slope stability is one of the most important researches in the area of geotechnical engineering. Slope body composition of strip mine is dynamic process. With the mining drawdown and slope reaching limit, slope height and slope angle increases year by year, which causes the security worse and worse. Slope stability becomes one of the most important problems of mine safe production.Taking dynamic evolution of high-steep slope in the course of mining of Buzhaoba open-pit mine for instance, according to the condition of slope stability and the characteristics of deformation, the method of limit equilibrium and simulation were used to study slope stability and forecast development tendency of deformation, based on monitoring data and geologic data of slope engineering.Combining the need of production, process design for comprehensive management of slope was produced on the basis of insuring safety production, that is stripped in three steps and decrease load scheme. Slope stability was analysed by applying limit equilibrium and simulation respectively. The research indicated that stripped in three steps and decrease load scheme could ensure production safely. The main content are as follows:(1) The deformation characteristics of slope was analyzed by monitoring data, on that basis, the deformation trend of slope was forecasted by gray system theory, polynomial regression theory and the optimal combination forecast theory with combination of MATLAB;(2) Along with surfacemine drawdown, the side slope was in the unstable state, so the plan of comprehensive treatment was purposed to slope, that is three-stage stripping and load shedding;(3) The present state of slope stability was analyzed by the method of limit equilibrium, and researched slope stability after three-stage stripping and load shedding;(4) The excavation of slope was simulated by finite difference software FLAC3d, and the tendency of stress and displacement of slope in the stage of current, three-stage stripping process and after finishing excavation were analyzed and researched systematically by this way.
