Mesoporous alumina is a new kind of nano-structured materials with characteristic of large surface area, regulated constructure, narrow pore size distribution, and strong surface acidity. This new kind of material shows good potential application in catalysis and other chemical fields. The study on its synthesis and application has important significance.In this thesis, the organized mesoporous alumina with a high specific surface area and narrow pore size distribution has been prepared by two methods including the precipitation method of inorganic aluminum source and hard-template method. The modification technology of the synthesized organized mesoporous alumina was studied also,.The synthesized organized mesoporous alumina was characterized by Transmission electron microscopy, Nitrogen Adsorption instrument, X-ray diffraction, in order to discuss its specific surface area,pore size and distribution, as well as long-range order. Meanwhile, the hydrothermal stability of synthesizes mesoporous alumina was measured. Inorganic aluminate was used as aluminum source,the organized mesoporous alumina with high specific surface area and narrow pore size distribution was prepared by precipitation method using appropriate surfactant as a template.The influence on synthesis of mesoporous alumina was discussed including the washing agent,,,aging time and terminal pH value. Meanwhile, the hydrothermal stability of synthesizes mesoporous alumina was measured alsoIn this paper, the mesoporous silica zeolite (SBA-15) with the regular hexagon pore structure was synthesized respectively by multiple template and single template using TEOS as silica source. The synthesized SBA-15 was used as template to prepared mesoporous carbon. The testing to prepare mesoporous alumina has been carried out using synthesized mesoporous carbon with regular structure as a hard template.Study on modification technology of mesoporous alumina has been carried out, the modified method includes direct synthesis method and post-synthetic modification The modification of the mesoporous alumina can improve physical and chemical properties to meet its catalytic and absorbing application.The study on removing the phosphorus from wastewater with the mesoporous alunina was creatively provided. By comparesion with another adsorbent, the influence of mesoporous structure on adsorption,was discussed.. the experimental results shows that the synthesized mesoporous alumina has good absorbing capability.
