Along with the continual research on the subject of atmospheric environment, people more and more concern about atmospheric particles especially PM10,PM2.5. In this thesis, sampling of atmospheric particles was done at different height of two different places in Kaifeng according to function zoning. The result of the vertical distributive characters of PM10, PM2.5, TSP provide a scientific basis for further research of the sources, distribution, transmission and transformation characteristics a of atmospheric aerosols in Kaifeng City.According to characters of the function zoning of the city, two spot are selected for the research. Yuxiang Hotel in the center of Kaifeng represents commercial-transportation district, and National Electric Net Ltd Building represents education-residence district. Sampling was carried out April 9-April 19, April 30-May 7, October 15-October 25. Samples were collected at different spots with different height, which were treated and analyzed after that. The results are as follows:(1) The concentration of PM10 and PM2.5 vary slightly in different places according to the function zoning, and also vary in different seasons. The particle's concentration of education-residents district is a little bigger than in the commercial-transportation district, and spring of it is a little bigger than autumn of it. In spring, the concentration of PM10 decrease with increasing altitude, and the decreasing rate in altitude in education-residents district is a little higher than in the commercial-transportation district, is higher than in winter. And the rate in Yuxiang hotel is higher than National Electric Net Ltd Building. The concentration of PM2.5 increase with increasing altitude, and the increasing rate in the commercial-transportation district in altitude is a little higher than in the education-residents district. In autumn, the concentration of PM10 and PM2.5 increase first with increasing altitude, and then decrease. The highest spot is 18 meters high from the surface, and then the figure decrease with increasing altitude till the top which is about 82 meters high from the surface. The highest figure of PM10 is at the spot which is 1.5 meters above the surface of education-residents district, 286.9μg/m3;The highest figure of PM2.5 is at the spot which is 1.5 meters above the surface of commercial-transportation district, 146.3μg/m3. The percentage of PM2.5 / PM10 of commercial-transportation district is 59.5%72.1%, and the top figure is at the spot of 1.5 meters above the surface which is also a lot higher than other spots; the percentage of PM2.5 / PM10 of education-residents district is 50.7%58.5%, and the top figure is at the spot of 18 meters above the surface and vary insignificantly with the increasing altitude.(2) The concentration of metal elements in particles are obviously higher in commercial-transportation district than which in education-residents district, and are higher in spring than in autumn. The concentration of Ca, Cu,Zn,Pb,Mg in PM10 and PM2.5 increase with increasing altitude; and the concentration of Mn,Fe vary irregularly; and the concentration of Ni,Cr decrease with increasing altitude. The average concentration of metal elements lines from high to low is: Ca> Zn >Pb> Fe > Cu >Ni > Mg > Cr >Mn according to the statistics of PM10 and PM2.5 of three times sampling in two seasons. In all, the concentration of mental elements in PM2.5 are close to the concentration in PM10. The PM2.5/PM10 of the concentration of Ca,Zn,Pb,Ni,Mg,Cr are all greater than 95%, and Mn of it is between 86% and 89%, and Fe of it is between 72% and 75%, and Cu of it is between 49% and 52%. That means: the concentration of Cu is greater in bigger particles of inhalable particles.(3)In the condition of big wind: the concentration of the particles is lower in the condition of the wind ranges 35, because the wind will spread the particles which is bad for accumulation; small particles spread quickly and is lower on the condition of extreme strong wind, but the concentration of PM10 is higher because the strong wind blow the bigger particles from the surface of the ground into high altitude.
