Research On The Design Of The Chinese's Type

The current typographic design is focused on the functional needs in Chinese character's reading, but the Chinese culture of the printing font is often overlooked. There is so much perfect design in the history of typography development process. On one hand, regular script font is abundant in the developing history of the calligraphy, on the other hand, because of technology, Chinese character's type developed to suit engraving on board,eventually developed into a special printing of the Song typeface. The type of the Chinese characters has become a field that is different from Calligraphy and is closely related to the specific areas. Associated with the development of modern printing technology, typographic isn't like the engraving fonts any longer, which might have a different shape in almost every book. But selected some as a template to design a relatively stable shape and continue to use, in today's technological conditions , the computer font is developed from the type. there is little choice, combined with modern design method of functionalization, making the current style of Chinese characters'type gradually monotonous, the design of Chinese character's type should be multiple as Chinese character is a cultural carrier, in which , to explore the possibility of Chinese typography design has become a very necessary topic.
