This thesis is concerned with the research of amine-catalyzed (3+n) annulation of 2-(acetoxymethyl)buta-2,3-dienoate and l,n-binucleophiles. The (3+n) annulations have been realized with 1,3-C,O-binucleophiles or 1,n-N,N-binucleophiles as the other reaction partner, which provides a facile entry to various heterocyclic compounds.On the basis of study of the dynamic kinetic resolution of racemicβ'-substituted 2,3-dienoates and the isolation of the intermediate, the mechanism, involving tandem SN2' SN2'substitutions and Michael addition, has also been established.
