Electric arc furnace has become one of the main steel-making methods due to itshigh thermal efficiency, recyclable scrap advantages.However, it also exists a series ofproblems such as high consumption, complex process and so on. Former research in thisfield always focus on the elaborate process control of EAF, which can not satisfysteel-making enterprises to reduce material costs, shorten smelting time and improveproduction efficiency as well as assure quality.Focusing on the research of EAF steel-making process, steel-making process isdetailed and complex peocesses are analyzed in this dissertation at the first place.Then,some process control models are summarized according to the difficulties in thesteel-making process, as well as the material balance, chemical equilibrium and energyconservation principle.The next, a process optimization model based on economic indexis built according to the theory of optimum combination and the controlmodels.Afterwords the genetic algorithm is designed to solve this model. Finally, thetraditional ingredients model based on linear programming is improved, combined withthe fuzzy mathematic knowledge an ingredients model based on the flexible constraintis built.Ultimately the effectiveness of this model is verified by related simulationexperiments.
