The stator and rotor is the core component of screw motor. Rotor is a steel screw which surface coated with a wear-resistant materials. Stator is the steel outer tube and the outer tube wall vulcanized rubber bushing composed. The traditional stator outer tube is a hollow tube, the rubber bushing is a wall thickness ranging from easily lead to premature failure of stator, thus shortening the life of the screw motor. The stator housing through reasonable changes in the shape of the stator steel control into a steel spiral surface, so that the stator rubber layer thickness, overcome the conventional screw motor stator technology, inadequate screw motor can effectively improve the working environment and enhance their useful life. Therefore, the processing of uniform thickness stators within the helical surface has become a new topic.Because of a conventional screw drill tool rubber bushing is uneven, the screw drill tool has a short life, a narrow scope of application. the conventional screw drill tool has not meet market needs, so a new screw drill tool is urgent to be made to meet the market. Many studies have shown that, by changing the shape of the stator shell, processed into the same curve with the conventional screw the stator curve, so the stator rubber is thin and uniformly, which can overcome the uneven distribution of the rubber which brought many disadvantages, and Research has shown that such thickness screw drill tool has more advantages than the conventional screw, which can meet the petroleum, chemical and other machinery in the field of the screw drill tool life, performance and efficiency needs.Based on the existing research on screw stator, this paper explores the long curve of the stator. Through analyzing the stator curve and the existing processing methods on the spiral curve, this paper proposed a new method by using milling method to process Stator screw drill tool curve.Based on the analysis, this paper designs a special cutter for this process, which is referring to shape cutter. Finally, through analyzing the actual situation of machine, this paper designs the milling head body and transmission system, and the design of processing equipment of the milling head parts are finished, the errors of inner helical curved surface of stator in processing are analyzed.
