The crankshaft is the key components of automobile engine. The accuracy, rotation accuracy, friction, vibration and noise of the engine are directly influenced by roundness error of neck link. With the development of automobile industry, there are higher requirements on the crankshaft manufacturing precision, efficiency and quality. The crankshaft connecting rod neck is manufactured by the use of methods to adjust the processing of the eccentric in traditional crankshaft grinding, which is lead to the production for a long time, poor flexible of production facilities and hard to ensure precision. For lacking of traditional processing methods, C-X coordinated grinding method which is as a new grinding method have appeared in 20 century 90 years. With the earlier action of C-X coordinated grinding of crankshaft abroad, and has a ready-made products, but it is expensive. Although there are many domestic universities and research institutes to study it, however, for C-X coordinated grinding of crankshaft is difficult to control, therefore, there is no product launch domestic.So this paper study a new coordinated grinding of crankshaft. This method is called C-S coordinated grinding method.The main work of this paper is as follows:1. Several important basic parameters in grinding process are analysed, including the removal rate, constant removal rate and the equivalent grinding thickness. Discuss the dynamic movement features of C-X coordinated grinding of crankshaft, and described the necessity of variable speed movement in crankshaft grinding process. According to the basic theory of cylindrical grinding, establish constant linear motion model of grinding points along the rod surface of the neck. In order to ensure the grinding accuracy and surface quality of rod neck, the motion model must be constant removal rate of compensation. Therefore motion model must be simplified, but there is a certain simplification error.2. Study the dynamic movement features of C-S coordinated grinding of crankshaft. And fix motion model of C-S coordinated grinding of crankshaft. As long as the grinding wheel follow the crankshaft link to do simultaneous carotid uniform rotary motion and their radius of gyration are same, without any simplification of the motion model, grinding point makes constant linear motion along the rod neck surface, and will not produce error on simplified model.So C-S coordinated grinding method of crankshaft with the dynamic form of exercise is simple and easy control.3. Discuss the dynamic difference between ordinary cylindrical grinding and coordinated grinding of the crankshaft, proposed grinding force formula of ordinary cylindrical grinding does not apply coordinated grinding of crankshaft. For characteristics of coordinated grinding of crankshaft, by comparative analysis of two groups grinding force formula, a common grinding force formula of coordinated grinding of crankshaft is derived. Analyse the grinding force generated on C-X and C-S coordinated grinding of crankshaft to the impact of precision, and contrast the influence degree of precision.4. Analyse the main factors accuracy of coordinated grinding of crankshaft. Study the influence of static process system error, grinding wheel wear error and CNC system error on the accuracy of crankshaft. Establish the error formation mechanism model of relevant factors. By studying the relevant error factors to the degree of influence of precision,contrast the difference between the C-X coordinated grinding of crankshaft and the C-S coordinated grinding of crankshaft.
