Crankshaft is one of the most important components of combustion engine, the roundness of the connecting rod directly affects the working efficiency of combustion engine. Traditional crankshaft grinding technique uses decentration adjusting method, it takes a long preparation time, also cannot guarantee the processing accuracy. Crank-coordinated grinding, as a new kind of high-efficiency grinding method, it can complete the grinding process of the crankshaft for just one clamping. It has many advantages such as less time to adjust the clamping process, higher processing accuracy and so on. Therefore, it is the trend of the crank grinding. so, it is meaningful to explore its control process of the grinding process.Through the study of the crank-coordinated grinding process, and based on the regular patterns of the wheel frame movement, we are able to develop the control plan of the wheel frame movement; To ensure that the crankshaft rotates without vibration, the supporting plan of the center frames is drafted and confirmed. At last the CAPP expertise system of crank-coordinated grinding is developed to improve the design process of grinding technique on the basis of the steps above. The contents are as follows:1. The study of the principle on the crank-coordinated grinding. In order to get a clear understanding of the crank-coordinated grinding. The model of the grinding process is built. Also the grinding force is calculated to provide the necessary parameters of the simulation process of the crank-coordinated grinding.2. The Kinematic Analysis of the wheel frame. The crank-coordinated grinding model is analyzed with the ADAMS. The movement of the wheel frame is confirmed and also compared with the Theoretical calculation results in the Matlab. Thus it lays the foundation of the control of the wheel frame.3. The study of the supporting plan of the Centre frame in the crank-coordinated grinding. To ensure the vibrationless rotation of the crankshaft, it needs to develop the the reasonable plan of the effective support of the centre frame. The process as follows:1.The Ansys is used to do the modal analysis of the crankshaft, then we can tell the dangerous places of the crankshaft; 2.the transformation and the stress research of the crankshaft under the gravity and the spin velocity; 3.when the positions of the centre frame is confirmed. The results of different kinds of centre frame supporting plan is compared to select the best one of the crank-coordinated grinding.4. The development of the crank-coordinated grinding CAPP expert system. After the control plan of the grinding process is confirmed,we use the Qt creator and MySQL to develop the CAPP expert system. The control file generated by the CAPP expert system is also examined by the actual grinding process. By this method,the process of the crank-coordinated grinding is more efficient.
