Diatomite is biological mineral materials which was taken shape by single-celled lower aquatic plant diatom remains which was in oceans and rivers following with millions of years sedimentary mineralization,it is no qualitative type of amorphous SiO2, contains a little of Fe2O3,AI2O3,Na2O,MgO,CaO,K2O,P2O5etc.lts mineral composition is not only diatom,but also many kinds of clay and quartz and dolomite and so on.Its colours contains white,hoar,shallow beige,and so on.It has its own special microporous structures.It has advantages such as high porosity,pore bulky,light quality,small stacking density High spicific surface,low thermal conductivity,strong adsorption property,good Activity.It has various kinds of products,and its major purpose is produce filter aid which is not only has the most kinds but also the most use level.Diatomite powders can use for filter Solids,colloid,suspended materials and bacteria etc,which is in liquid,Its effect is filter clean and pure the liquidFollowing with on-the-spot investigation and consulting in Harbin beer(changchun yinpu) Co., LTD,finds that most of the beer enterprises does not recover the mud of diatomite which is produced in the filter of beer,not only waste resources,but pollute the environment. This research uses the mud of diatomite which is produced by Harbin beer(changchun yinpu) Co., LTD in the fermentation workshop, consult and contrast the reference materials and brother and elder sister's research methods of recycling diatomite,come to the conclusion as follows:1. The mud of diatomite with is just unloaded from the fermentation workshop of Harbin beer(changchun yinpu) Co., LTD contents 59.92% of moisture,after dry.the calcination weightlessness is 20.67% 2. By Single factor experiment and Orthogonal experiment, measured that 200mL mass fraction of 0.4% NaClO solution and 200mL 0.2 mol/L NaOH solution concentration is the best kind of recycling 70g the mud of diatomite3. the recovery rate is increasing following with the precipitation time's increase when it is natural precipitation.when the precipitation time is 24h,the recovery rate is 89.71%. using this recovery process, when recovery 1kg diatomite,the save of money is 2.5 yuan. When the time of precipitation is more than 24h, the recovery rate effect is not obvious. Using the centrifuge precipitation recovery may reach 93%.4. The residual chlorine content of recycling diatomite is very low. Used for filtering beer, the increase of residual chlorine in beer is only between 5×10-5to 3.3×104 mg/L. Compare it with the residual chlorine health index of living and drinking water,this content is very slow, this content not only without damage to human health,but will not influent the quality of beer.so it can be neglect.5. After compare the property of new diatomite and recycling diatomite,to find out that recycling diatomite internal microporous structure becomes clear, the organics has been separation;the porosity of recycling diatomite is bigger than new diatomite;the density and wet density of recycling diatomite is smaller than new diatomite;and the filtration rate is faster than the new diatomite;and the filtration performance is not as good as new diatomite.6. use the small plate-and-frame filter press which is ownde by the laboratory take the place of big beer filter to filtering beer, research the change of beer indexes when it was filterde by both new diatomite and recycling diatomite. Determination that,after the effectively filter layer by the diatomite, the beers which was filterde by both new diatomite and recycling diatomite are all meet the indexes of Harbin beer(changchun yinpu) Co., LTD.7. The diatomite which was recycling and reuse for five times,is still meeting the indexes of Harbin beer(changchun yinpu) Co., LTD.
