There are dry desulfurization, semi-dry desulphurization and wet desulfurization technology using in combustion flue gas. The dry desulfurization technology was most widely used by its mature technology and high desulfurization efficiency. But there are some weakness, for example, complex process,more inventment at the fist time, large use of land, waste water; The application of dry desulfurization technology was less than others by its low efficiency and desulfurizer utilization, though its process is the most simple one; The semi-dry desulphurization process has some characteristics such as simple process, high efficiency, smaller use of land and no waste water and so on. It gradually take the place of other desulfurization technology.The flue gas in Songyuan power plant contain high sulfur dioxide dosage. Therefore the desulfurization process must be use smaller area, high desulfurization efficiency, low cost and no secondary pollution. So the gas suspension absorber(GSA) semidry desulfurization technolagy which is developed independently by Building materials R&D center of Wuhan University of Technology used in Songyuan power plant which have unique mode for atomization and material circulation.This paper present the process'parameters'calculation in detail. In this desulfurization system, the velocity of the empty tower is between 6 and 6.7 m/s, ensure the condition of fluidized bed and the uniformity, also guarantee the contact time of flue gas and desulfurizer in 2.5s. The velocity of venturi throat which under the tower is about 30m/s, make sure the formation of fluidized bed and prevent materials collapse in tower; Lapple model was used in cyclone design, the inlet velocity control in 20m/s to ensure the separation efficiency of big particle and low pressure drop. FEM was used in the analysis of the wind load and the earthquake of the structure.of the tower. Equivalent wind pressure method was used in the analysis of the wind load; The transient analysis was used in the earthquake response, seismic waves from Tianjing Ninghe was loaded. This paper have some reference value for application of circulating fluidized bed suspended absorb desulfurization techniques in thermal power plant.
