The non-thermal plasma has a lot of advantages that are high removal efficiency, nonselective, wide using range and so on, which is a novel technology for the removal of gaseous VOCs, therefore, it shows a promising application perspective. In this experiment, Trichloroethylene (TCE) was chosen as the object and wave plasma discharge system was studied to remove the VOCs. This paper also investigated the effect of initial concentration of TCE and wave power on decomposition rate of TCE and energy efficiency. The main results are summarized as follows:(1) Experimental process found that microwave power influence the plasma flame brightness, when microwave power reaches a certain value, the microwave power has little impact on the plasma flame.(2) Investigation of Trichloroethylene Treatment by Atmospheric Microwave Plasma, the process has a small amount of by-products generation. In the experimental process found the reactor after microwave role has black tar walls of material.(3) Along with the power of microwave increase, the removal of trichloroethylene increases; the trend of energy efficiency of TCE was reduced. The initial concentration of TCE affects its removal, the initial concentration of TCE is more, the removal rate decreased; but its absolute remove content increased, the corresponding energy efficiency also increased.
