Study Of The Properties And Preparation Of Strong Corrosion-Resistant Room Temperature Vulcanized Silicone Rubber

With the rapid developing of agriculture and industry, environment contamination becomes serious gradually and pollution flashover in power system appears frequently too. Preventing and reducing the pollution flashover is an important measure to maintain the security of the power system.In this thesis, it consults and summarizes lots of scientific literatures to solute RTV silicone rubber coatings which can not prevent pollution flashover and influence by acid, alkali, metallic particles etc al under the high contamination region that we expecting. So we begin to research it.Our group designed to add three different nano-filler on RTV silicone rubber. RTV silicone rubber was characterized by FT-IR, contacting angle measurement, and finally the overall performance of the coatings was tested.RTV silicone rubber was prepared with different solvents.It is found the bubble s are different which using different solvents and solvent content in the RTV silicone rubber. The bubbles in RTV silicone rubber was eliminated markedly which was prepared with mixed solvents. These were completely eliminated that mixed solvents was 5:1.The static contact angle measurement was used to test RTV silicone rubber hydrophobic properties with different fillers.It is found that the maximum value is 111.5°by nano-SiO2, nano-Al(OH)3 and PTFE.The RTV silicone rubber that with different materials was tested by the aging test and by FT-IR when the temperature is 25℃,250℃,300℃and 350℃. It was found that absorption peaks with varieties of nano-fillers in 2960cm-1,1260 cm-1,1010cm-1,800cm-1 become weak as the temperature increasing.The RTV silicone rubber with nano-SiO2, nano-Al(OH)3 and PTFE filler has excellent resistance to corrosion in acid, alkali and salt test.
